As I have experienced the struggles of getting admitted to med school myself, I now work towards helping other people with this strenuous process. My goal is to give you everything you need, so that you can make your first steps in YOUR medical career here in Germany. I’d love to see all of you as a fellow student or colleague one day!
As a small boy, the medical sector, especially emergency medical services struck my interest because still, even now I find it amazing how if someone calls for help, there are always people willing and ready to set off to treat the patient.
This why during high school I joined the Red Cross organization and became a voluntary medic, occasionally working at big public events and in the German civil-protection service.
Right after my high school graduation I consequently went to paramedic school and became a primary care paramedic working on an ambulance responding to medical emergency callouts and working to save lives together with paramedics and emergency doctors.
Wanting to explore more of the medical field I started regularly teaching multiple classes of nursing students about life-threatening conditions and the technical and logistical possibilities in EMS.
After realizing the endless options one has in the medical field, I decided to pursue medicine on a new level - Studying medicine and eventually becoming a doctor.
